First post of 2012- Setting some goals!

January 2, 2012

I would like to be more focused around my saving so that I can get to my goal sooner than later of having my first stage of phalloplasty.

I know I have made decisions before but as with all things… I make plans then life happens. The only thing I know I am sure of is that I will be going overseas for at least part of my phalloplasty if not all of it.

I also will try plan to allow my body more adequate healing time and not rush it like I did with hysto and meta. Though I can out on the other side of those without any complications I still need to give my phalloplasty some real healing time.

I also plan to finish up my MBA in Public Administration. I had to take a break with my recent injuries but I plan to be back at it.

I plan to make it to some of the other conferences this year and not just my usual ones. I do plan to make having more quality sleep and quality time with the wife and kids s bigger priority.

I plan to treat my body better in general not just when I am prepping or recovering from surgery but year round.

I am planning to put my Real Estate License to more use this year to reach my financial goals sooner than later because I need surgery but I also need a bigger space to live in.

Overall I just want 2012 to be more about forward movement and less about being stagnant due to fear.

This quote will be kind of my words to live by for 2012

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.”
